DELL 1800FP

Hi all,

I am about to place an order for the 1800FP and i want some confirmation that i am not doing something stupid.
I was considering the Dell and the Hitachi, but since I am getting the dell for 100$ less than the hitachi, and i am only
a casual gamer, i think it might be better for me.
what concerns me is the 350:1 color ration and the 0.28 pixel size..
How bad is this monitor? does it suxs for games/movies?
which one of the two is better for 2d applications? (Coding/Web)?

Try and look at this thread at arstechnica, it contains a lot of good info.

But it would be best to try before buying.
