Dell 1800FP lcd monitor : Does it work with any KVM switch?

I've seen comments elsewhere that the Dell 1800FP LCD monitor doesn't work with certain KVM switches. Is this a general problem, or specific to a few KVM switches? If it's a general problem, I may sell off the 1800FP I just got (still in box) rather that waste time with it...

I'm not interested in buying a mega-expensive KVM that supports DVI, incidentally. So this question pertains to KVM switches in analogue mode only...

After Dell had their big sales on this monitor, there were a lot of people complaining that it doesn't work with KVM switches. I didn't see anyone say "oh yeah, it does" although, as you say, it's hard to believe it doesn't work with any KVM switch.

Hence my question...

Anyone know...?

I went out and found a 2-port belkin and a 4-port belkin KVM switch.

It worked with both.

(analog, not digital)
