Intel PRO/1000XT Gigabit Server Adapter [add $139]
LOL I got one of those from $30 at Microcenter a while back... I'll take that as an indication about the deal.

I'd be more concerned with how QUIET these switches are. I have a 3com that sounds like a turbine.

Yes, it is rack mountable. They even come with the screws, etc. req'd to rack it up.

It's only 10.5 inches wide. How do you mount it in a 19" standard rack? Bracket extenders? Are you sure the 16 port comes with rackmounting hardware?

Yes, they come with bracket extenders. I like the deal better when it came with the free Access Point a few months ago...

Yeah - this is std pricing. When I was looking into this about 2 weeks ago it was $89 w/ a $50 MIR. Now it's a bit cheaper but w/ less discount after rebate. Just a matter of preference I guess.

More than a few folks selling them (new) still on ebay for much less ($32-33+Ship). I just sold (a brand new) one on FS/FT a bit ago for $45 shipped. As said above, they do come with rack mounting extenders and screws, etc. The powersupply is built in, uses a std. pc style power cable.
