Dell 15" Inspiron 2in1 (Yea OR Nay?)

Looking to upgrade my old Dell Vostro 1500 (7-8 yrs.). I don't need much power, just web surfing, hulu, prime videos, typical stuff. No gaming. I would love to get 5+ years out of it. I was looking for a 15" with 1920x1080 (touch a plus) with at least a skylake i3. I have an SSD (850 evo) that I would swap in. This Dell has what I want.

Dell Inspiron 2in1

i3-6100u, 4gb, 500gb 5400rpm, HD 520, and a 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) Truelife LED-Backlit Touch Display

It is $550 and currently can get $50 off so $500. No idea how long Dell keeps coupon codes going.

My only concern Is I would like to not have something overly hot sitting on my lap, which is where it will be used most the time. Hard to find that kind of information. I also wonder about the 360 degree hinges. Being a newer model(June 1st?) there isn't many reviews.

So what say you? Yes, No, Something Else? I haven't looked a ton and could go as much as $700 but Really want under 600. This at 500 seems great.

Just remembered one thing I like is no number pad on this Dell. I have no need for one and they seem to just crowd the keys I do want.
Edit: Wasn't looking for a 2in1, it just caught my eye and seems nifty.
