Dell 1355cnw copy/scan problem

A friend gave me his Dell 1355cnw all-in-one laser printer and I downloaded the drivers and got it to print, but I can't copy or scan. When I press those buttons, I just get the message, "Please Wait...." and nothing ever happens. 😵 I've looked at the manual online and searched Dell's site for this, but find nothing. I don't know what to do. 😕 Can anyone help me? I would be so appreciative! :sneaky:
