I purposely used the same CPU as Dell did.

You would still need $100 extra for an OS to be fair. Also this motherboard has better wireless than the Dell system.

You can probably cut about $50 or so if you use the right coupons and maybe go with a cheaper motherboard but then you would not have wireless. Through careful selection you might be able to break even with DELL for better quality, unless you just want to buy retail and sit down and relax.
