I'm trying to get a waterbed shipped to me. Triad Carolina Freight said $240! UPS won't do it because its too big. Any ideas?

Wow, that's alot for freight.

It's about right though. Probably the only way you can get a better rate with a freight carrier is if you know someone that works for a company that uses a freight carrier daily and has an account with them.

We ship and receive freight everyday (Mon-Fri), I can generally ship anything for about $40.

Is this in-state or is it coming to you from another state?
