For those of you who have had this done... how do they deliver it? I just want them to deliver the unit still in the box and I want to set it up myself. I don't want it delivered already opened from the box because I fear they will be careless and scratch it up when they remove it from the box. I'm a former comic book collector and I would be anal about the condition of my future new HDTV.

Is this how it is done?

Mine was delivered in box. I set it up myself. If you pay for fancy service, they will set it up for you, but I didn't other people touching my TV!

In newer stores with a Magnolia Home Theater, the basic install is $80, which DOES include taking it out of the box and setting up one component. Without a MHT, it's $50, but there, they usually either leave it in the box, or just take it out and plug it in. If you have a MHT, the $50 service is not available, and visa-versa.

Either way, you can tell the installers you don't want anything done. They'll just take the box to the room you want it in and leave. They always enjoy having to do less work :).

its delivered in the box, you can have them unbox it and load it into the place you want to put it at, or just have htem drop off the box .
