Deleting user.dmp files

Is it OK to delete these files or are they needed by Win2k for some strange reason. I do not see any reason that Win2k still needs these files. I hust want to make sure because I do not want to ruin a good install of Win2k.
 
These are generated when errors occurred. The OS dumps the program state in these files. Unless you want to recover some critical information, it is safe to delete them.
