Deleting Redundant MBR

I installed Vista then XP and as a result had trouble with the boot loader. I used EasyBCD to fix this issue and it was working fine but not I am getting TWO boot loaders upon startup. The vista boot loader > select xp > then an xp bootloader. So how do I delete the redundant boot loader?

Thanks,

You don't. That's how it's supposed to work. At best you can tweak the XP bootloader to automatically kick in to XP.

XP's bootloader was simply jumping straight in to loading XP. XP needs its bootloader since that's how safe mode and other specialized features are triggered. If you mess with boot.ini, you should be able to get things back the way they were.
