Deleting icons from Games Explorer menu

Hey gang,

I have several games and demos that for one reason or another are not showing up correctly in the Games Explorer menu. Either the icon for a certain game appears twice, a game has a generic icon that when double-clicked fails to execute, or perhaps most frustratingly, some old icons from old demos/games that I uninstalled still have an icon in the Games Explorer menu.

It makes browsing through it confusing and tedious, but I can't seem to delete or edit any of the entries/icons in this folder. Right clicking just prompts the MS "chime", highlighting and hitting the "delete" key does the same, clicking and dragging doesn't work, and none of the folder options in the sub menu seems to do anything either.

I'm at a loss. What am I overlooking?

Thanks!

P.S. This is Windows 7 Pro.

Are there any other user accounts on the machine? can you try and log in with them and delete a game / edit a game etc. It Sounds like a permissions issue - although that would give you a prompt box normally. - Do you have a keyboard with a Menu key? (normally to the right of the Alt Gr key)
