Ok, I have 4 drives in my PC. For whatever reason, Windows 7 will not let me delete alot of my files on some of these drives. They have never been encrypted or anything. Im able to view files, copy to drives, etc...but alot of them wont let me delete them. I download some little hack that supose to let you right click, take ownership, but that dont seem to work. Is there a program or any other way to do this? Is there a way to turn this crap off, I cant stand it. Thanks!

Just some files, have a bunch of old crap I really dont need to keep around, but wont let me, even though its on a slave drive =P Hell I even have an old windows folder (xp) on one of the drives and it wont let me delete even though its not on the main hard drive, but theres just normal files too besides that one I want to get rid of.

If your account is an admin acct you should just need to take ownership of the folders. Right click - Security Tab- Advanced Button - Owner. Change owner to your account.

Only on NTFS file system

why not copy the files you want to keep over to another partition then just blow away the slave drives? seems simpler to me.
