Nah, these games are boring to me now. Give me 128 player servers or whatever and ill bite.

Planetside 2 can scratch my rare FPS itch.

I'll probably keep it installed for a bit to see what my friends do with BF4. I have plenty of space on my SSD.

Ditto. I can't stomach it anymore. Every time I play BF3, I can't help thinking about how much more fun I could be having playing something else. It's just so "stale".

You put BF3 on your SSD ? Does it really make that big of a difference?

Load times are night and day with the SSD, it could be the difference in getting a vehicle or a running on foot from the start.

Be aware that with all the BF3 DLC the install is around 40GB.

Delete it?

Hell I just bought it (as part of that massive EA Humble Bundle). I haven't even installed Origin yet, let alone the game.

As Bacon said, it makes HUGE difference. I have a friend that uses a standard HDD and I usually get in a game, cap a flag, and have killed 3-4 peeps before he finally gets the map loaded. LOL

And no I wont be deleting it anytime soon, I have a serious Nosehair Canals TDM addiction that Im not sure BF4 can match just yet.

I put BF3 on my WD Raptor 10,000 rpm hard drive. Seems fast enough with load times. I am the first 5 in.

It will be hard to say goodbye to my M98. Together, we've sent over 60,000 digital souls straight to respawn hell. I won't be deleting BF3 until I become fully entrenched in BF4.

Good chose.

I haven't decided yet. Have plenty of room just not sure if it is worth playing BF3 once BF4 officially comes out. (Not the beta)

VOIP may be more annoying than good in BF4.

Of course I'll be deleting it -- there's new carrots to chase.

And SSD + no spawn-delay servers = vehicle choice + free flag + laughter at those that don't have SSD's.

I find you accusing me of trolling to be pretty ironic, since the majority of your posts (and especially this thread) fit the definition very well.

That's the key. So many times I pop in the game and its like me and 1 other guy, standing around for 30 seconds doing nothing. If no spawn delay, then i'm basically all alone in an empty server for a few moments. It seems few people have SSDs.

Well of course few people have SSDs. I notice the same thing with my WD Raptor. So it must not make a big enough difference between the Raptor. Though I may decide to put BF4 on my SSD but don't want to image a game as well with my imaging program. I leave my SSD for the OS and Apps.

I remember when raptors were the envy of enthusiasts and when they were really expensive. BF is SSD worthy, but once you are in the game it doesn't matter.

Yeah I remember too. They are still good for a cheap gaming drive or if you need a fast drive for certain apps.

Though of course a SSD is better for loading time but by how much? 2 to 5 secs ?
