Deleted Partition in Win2k... need it back!

I think the subject says it all... this has not been my weekend. The worst of it is it is someone else's disk.

Does anyone know of any programs or anything that will let me undo that partition delete? The partition was deleted in Windows 2000's Logical Disk Management Service. Anything that would let me recover the data would save my life. I did not format or do anything else to that deleted partion. I just hit delete in the Disk Manager, and bam it was gone.

Thanks in advance. Hopefully someone, somewhere, will have some magic that will save this disk.

Using PartitionMagic, you could feasibly edit the partition table information (one of its numerous tools that some people shouldn't be allowed to have) and put back the partition - ie. rather than have it marked as free space, have it marked back as say a FAT32 partition. Of course, you would have needed to have known the partition type, etc.
It is a bit complicated to fabricate some of this info out of thin air though, however if there is a near exact sized and typed partition on the drive or computer that could help you guesstimate some of the info you may need.

Thanks... it was NTFS and it took the entire drive space. I will look into the PartitionMagic program and see what I can figure out.

Follow-Up:

I purchased the PartitionMagic 7 program... it "Undeleted" the deleted partition without difficulty. I am depressed that I had to spend *more* money this weekend fixing my own mistakes, but so it goes. Overall I am relieved.
