He was "independently wealthy" but did not like to talk about it.

He is apparently from Orange County California, and travels a lot.

he invited us back to a very Hosh-Posh Hotel

had some really hot chick friends that wanted us to come too

Ummm...porn producer!

Dude, you blew it and, in turn, missed your chance to be blown ;)

you may have missed a kickass party, but it did sound a bit sketchy...you don't normally see people openly inviting like that and dropping that kind of cash here and there...at least i haven't met any *sigh*...haha...
but yea..as mentioned earlier...better safe than sorry....now go buy some new toys with that money :D

Probably for the best that you stayed away... sounds intriguing, but shady.

Enjoy the mid-February bonus.

You're a jackass buddy. I hope that guy finds you and breaks your face. He hooked you up with free drinks, money for a limo and invited you to his party and you just took the cash and split? Not cool.

I disagree. No one forced this guy to hand over the money and free drinks. Poontos decided not to go to the party and that was his/his friends decision, its a free world last time I checked.

I'm pretty sure that Poontos said he would go to his party, otherwise he wouldn't have given him 500 bucks. If he wasn't planning on going, he should have said so.

I probably would have gone and partied. I've met people at a bar and hung out after, it's worked out pretty good, no crazies. If you aren't into the drug scene it might have been sketch, but hey it happens. You guys have 500 bucks. I'll bet the guy wont remember that the next day anyway...

Only Poontos knows what was and what was not said but if this guys sole intention for giving them $500 was to convince them to go the party, I think Poontos was right not to go. Something certainly smells fishy to me.

But yes, I agree he should of said that he would not go but if this guy was so stupid as to give out free money then why stop him? A fool and his money are easy parted, after all.

Ahhh.. just woke up!

d1abolic,

Nah, we didn`t just split. We told him that we would try and make it, BUT My chick friend has a boyfriend (which he was a little thrown back by, cause he obviously wanted a peice of her), she has to work tonight, I cannot afford to pay for a cab back if we cannot find him. We are talking a 2-3 hour limo/cab ride here man. Her intuition told her that this was not legit. Anyway, they are going to be doing Coke, E, etc. at the party.

Czar,

Yah I still have it. We split it.

Anyway, I`ll I care is that I am still alive! Another adventure and still tickin'!
