The price here is says $1099 but when you click on buy it comes to $1799. This is not right. Please advise. I want this notebook. The model is 2775.

Argh, the reason why it's so cheap is because it's all rebates... here are the rebates:

$400 by mail with a $400 purchase and a 3-year MSN subscription at $21.95 per month.
$200 by mail with a $200 purchase and a 2-year MSN subscription at $21.95 per month.
$100 by mail with a $100 purchase and a 1-year MSN subscription at $21.95 per month

I heard that with the MSN subscription rebate, you can cash in the rebate and cancel the subscription, and still be entitled to the rebate (is this true? this was last yr, so laws could have changed).

That's very misleading too, sure you can save up to $700 by subscribing to ALL 3 service and thsu cashing all 3 rebates (is that even possible?!), but who the hell would?!

I just got off the phone with bestbuy.com and they say it is $1899 but with a line through it looks like $1099. This is very misleading. Wondering if we can get them to give it to us for $1099.
