the general perception is that the Rav4 is a girls car

really? i see the cr-v as a girls car. i see the rav4 as a guys car.

any car can be viewed as a girl's car. If you are worried about your car determining your sex, then you may as well just cut off your nuts.

Anyways, neither. Both have noisy cabins.

I voted for the Escape only because LOISSSSS chose the cr-v or rav4.

Can't go wrong betting against a blind squirrel even though they might find an acorn once in a while.

i voted for the rav4 only because Squisher chose the Escape and is an idiot for making irrational choices. the cr-v is the class leader and has been for almost 10 years

And I vote for giving each one a test drive. The escape was heavily redesigned in 2008 and 2009 (2008 was the official redesign, but they still changed quite a bit for 2009 also) and gets good reviews. However, you can't really chose a car over the internet.

the escape blows compared to the crv or rav4.

Have you personally driven all 2009 models?

as a matter of fact, yes. (at least the ones stated here) my gf has been looking for a cute ute for a while and think she's gonna get a used rx350 instead of these (she didnt like any of the cheap ones, go figure)
