Really depends how complicated the site is. If it's just html it should be easy to parse but if it's anything like most bloated websites today it's probably all javascript generated too so you almost need to interpret the javascript to get the list and then parse it. Becomes more complicated.

Just want to be able to pull addresses (physical/email) from a website that has a directory and be able to send out a postcard mailer (via Vistaprint and possibly an email blast)
Vistaprint has a specific format needed for the information and would like the emails in an easy format to be able to send a blast out...Sorry its amateur hour with me on this, so hope what I'm looking for makes sense.

All the info is in a public directory on the site...so it is pulling it and putting it into the right format that's the issue

If it's in a table format, it might actually be easier to copy and paste the whole thing in a text document, and then parse that out. That way you don't need to worry about parsing the html or anything.

So, let me get this straight, you have a server, that has a public directory full of physical & e-mail addresses on it?
Is your website run by Equifax?


Seriously, that shouldn't be in a public directory, everyone can get at that info.
You don't even say how the data is stored in the public directory, is it text files, a database, a custom file format?

The OP doesn't say it's public...? At any rate, there should be tools available to parse edited page source into various formats, maybe with a bit of hand editing. I'm not even a hack, and I could probably swing it with a bit of effort.
