No travel, no teamwork, no networking, learning nothing that's useful outside of engineering, jeans/button down culture sucks, field work sucks, pay is topped out, only decent thing is job security, flexibility, and 40 hour work weeks.
dude that sounds great to me (provided it pays enough)
i work in a company like that and have no intentions of leaving until i retire
if i never get another promotion i'll be thrilled, because moving up just means more responsibility and managing people and i hate that
I could certainly stay here for a long time, but I just know that eventually I'm going to move. I don't see the point in delaying that..
