Let's see, how can I phrase this...ok, it definitely looks better than earlier Multistradas. :)

The problem is when I think Ducati I think of their gorgeous sportbikes. In that light, it's not especially attractive. But if I do what I should...compare it to other bikes of it's kind, like the V-Strom, it's looks pretty good.

In any case, congrats. I'm sure it looks (and performs) awesome from the saddle; and that's where it counts.

Gorgeous bike!!!

I believe that the "Adventure" style bike is the new do-it-all machine. Comfort, performance, and practicality (easy to add luggage and other farkles).

With Ducati DNA you have turned it up to 11.

Cheers!

Nice ride, miles will pile up. Several on the sport touring guys I used to roll with swore by the multistrada.

Keep the shiny side up, but just in case it needs sliders asap.

All well and good, but is it a literbike? No liter = no care

Congrats. Don't crash it.

The added HP must be a real treat!!!! The real plus is that it is a comfy bike as well.
I see many miles comming your way.

Another thing many people liked about this bike was the following, borrowed from a review of the bike,

"Almost immediately on the road you can feel the newfound smoothness on the second generation
Testastretta 11º, especially when chugging through the city or being lazy on the shifter. Gone is the hurky-jerky lumpiness when the revs drop below the optimum cruising rpm. Even below 3000 rpm, the engine is smoother than any Ducati to date."

So nice!

I have mentioned in another ducati thread that I think that is the perfect adult bike. Power to respect as well as respect for your back

I actually like how they look with panniers. It didnt ride that different with loaded panniers did it? All that torque and low speed ease have to make loading up alot easier right?
