I know I've got a cheap board. I needed a cheap build at the moment (sold my big gamer as dicussed elsewhere here for $$) and decided to go with the A8-3850. For cheap motherboards, I like Biostar. (I've used for many budget builds for people fine).

Anyways, everything is working 100% except 1 thing.. I cannot get this board to run my memory at 1866. It will only run at 1600.

I paid extra for the 1866 Memory for the purpose of the 5-10% improvement in GPU performance over 1600.

Now Its Gskill Sniper 8GB Kit... which isn't on the support list, but as of right now, the only ram on the support list at this Speed is Kingston HyperX Lovo 4GB kit and its not even DDR3 1866. its DDR3 1800. I wanted 8GB.

Anybody have any suggestions?

www.rhcf.com - Talk to Polygon about your issue. There is also a Biostar rep active on that site as well. His username is Tekimon I think.
