I currently have an AMD 64 X2 4800+ system I am constructing.

I need some suggestions from you guys who have used different HSF combos to help me choose the best for cooling this bad boy down.

Im going to OC so I need a nice setup.

Let me know what you know!~

Thanks!

Watch out, the fan above isn't the one with tach out, but THIS ONE is!

BTW, I've bought a couple of days ago an SI-120 and just bought the Panaflo BX from Sidewinder too.

Should be quite enough for a little bit of OC 😉

The 2nd link would be overkill. That fan moves more than enough air and would be quite loud. Even @7V, it would still be pretty loud. I would go with the first fan, but that heatsink is definitely the one to get!

actually I would go one of 3 ways....

ThermalRight SI 120
ThermalRight XP 120
Scythe Ninja

For my fan I would go with a Coolermaster 120mm- very queit will do the job as well as a panaflo!
You just need a minimum amount of air to acheive maximum cooling!!

Also you could go the Thermaltake 120mm smart fan w/uncluded speed fan controller!!
Usding the controller you can throttle the fan down when not gaming or using heavy applications!!

Also throttled down you cannot hear the Thermaltake Smart fan!!

Good Luck!!
