i have a gigabyte ga-5ax board and messed up the bios, i need to make a autoexec.bat file on floppy to tell the thing to flash the bios, i have no screen and no use of keyboard, i have award bios and from what i have read it says to make a bootable floppy and put the flash on it, and make an autoexec.bat file to tell the thing to flash the bios, pls help i have no idea how to write the autoexec.bat file, thank in advance



I am a newbie and you all probably think this is an easy thing to do but i dont know how to do it, pls help
 
create a text file and save it as autoexec.bat

in that file just put one line:

biosprogram.exe

replace biosprogram with the name of the executable that does the bios update.
 
Umm depending on how you "messed up the bios" you wont be able to do this...if you trashed the bios, it wont know to boot from a floppy.
