Delete your AIM logs if someone else requested it?

Let's say that you had some conversations with Person B over AIM, which were logged via DeadAim.

If Person B found out that you were logging all the conversations and she asked you to delete them, would you?

On one hand, they're your logs. On the other hand, they were logged without both people knowing.

You have too much time on your hands, and not enough on your mind.

Well will Person B know if you deleted them or not?

I wouldn't delete them because if she said something that shouldn't be there, she shouldn't have said it.
Or
I would just delete them since I wouldn't really care what's on the log.

No, I was a member of the conversation, therefore I have a right to log it. If it was a close freind of mine and they had a legitimate, logical reason then I'd consider deleting a log of a particular conversation.

I wouldn't delete it specifically because they asked me to. It means whatever conversation we were having was important or revealing, so I'd probably just hide it on my computer as a readme file or something.

Not that I've done that before. :p

I would post the transcripts on ATOT and let the people there decide if they should be deleted.

Must I solve all the problems?

Make encrypted drive, copy all the logs + p0rn on it, then shred -n=30 all the old stuff.

I log everything... only a couple of close friends have ever asked me not to log them... so I just have a script that purges their log frequently.

Yeah, I delete them when requested.

Post them here and we'll tell you what to do.

Hey, can I manage your bank account too?

I assume that everything I have done on the internet has been/is being logged somewhere. As with anything in life, if there is information you don't want others to know about then you shouldn't tell anybody. If more than one person knows something then it is not a secret.
