No, you have a parental right to see your daughter. Use the legal system if necessary. She's a ****** for not letting her stay with you. Is your child support check good? Yes. She's your daughter too.

Unfortunately, the court system isn't going to do a hell of a lot to help you out (that's the way things are for fathers). Every other weekend may be the best you get, but at least that's a start.

You need a legal agreement pronto...I can't believe you don't have one already. You should get 50% custody, plus all the usual language to make sure the mother doesn't try the move to another state trick. good luck!

You are paying for the child, you should get to see it. I'm not really sure on the law except that man usually get screwed. I know a lot of divorced families and most child rotations are one parent gets the child every other week. This excludes special holidays though.

IANAL... all I can give you is best of luck and a , no advice.

Her reasons for not wanting to let you see your daughter are BS if you ask me. If parenting experience was a deciding factor, who let her have a kid in the first place?

I pissed around for a year and half after my divorce waiting on my lawyer to do something. I finally manned up, fired my crappy lawyer, forked over the cash to hire a GOOD lawyer and won full custody of my kids several months later. That was 4 years ago and I still have full custody and full control over visitation rights. I could be bending her over much worse on child support too but I don't think the system is fair so she only pays a token amount (what I feel the kids actually cost, not the BS number the legal system comes up with.)

You need to get a lawyer, not some cheap set fee type lawyer, but a GOOD screw you by the hour lawyer that can get results. It was the best money I've ever spent by far and I can assure you your kid is worth it. Call around, have a few consults and get a guy that is sharp and ruthless.

P.S. Good lawyers are not cheap, if they ask for a 5k retainer, plan on it all being spent. If you cannot afford a good lawyer ask relatives for a loan or beg/borrow it from somewhere. You can't get back time you don't spend with your kids.
