I'm still debating whether to get this or get the OZC Agility 120gb for ~$55 more AR at at ZZF.

I'll probably get this my WIN7 boot disk next month...anyone else waiting for WIN7 to add a SSD?

I kept debating to get SSD now and do fresh Win7 install or wait for technology to improve. Finally decided to wait. Controllers in SSD are rapidly improving so SSDs 12-18 months from now would be substantially better (ignoring the price issue). The fact that I do not know what to do with my Velociraptors (150 and 300) helped to seal the decision.

I'll do fresh Win7 install on VR and 12-18 months from now buy SSD and clone VR to it.

Intel promised motherboards with built-in flash RAM which would automatically cache most used OS files (improved version of current turbo memory). It might diminish the benefits of having standalone SSD.

Any links to topic or time estimate for the intel MB solution?

BTW...I just took the plunge and got the G2.

I feel compelled to mention that me, my brother, and most of our friends have each bought from ecost in the past (close to a dozen orders in total.) Not a single one of us got ANYTHING that was fully functional. eCost customer service is also nonexistent so we were all SOL. Not saying we are representative or anything but none of us are ordering from them ever again. Just wanted you guys to know that before you decided whether or not to buy from them.

E cost has a bad reputation for selling items they don't actually possess and then taking upward of a month to actually ship in many cases.
I wouldn't care if they had an Intel SSD for $99.00, I wouldn't buy anything from them again, ever.
