Actually, most bashed him because he was annoying. It's still him being different, but not a good different. 🙂

Yes, I took the time to get to know him. It wasn't an act, either. He'd go off on his tangents about homeless and taxes. I bet people you know have their quirks that you simply overlook in an effort of good faith to keep a friend, don't you?

Nope. Any quirks my friends have I either find funny or I just don't care about them at all. If I have to overlook stuff in people, I'm not going to spend a lot of free time with them because I've not found anyone who's so nice to spend time with that I'll put up with crap that annoys me. I'd rather just spend time with someone who doesn't annoy me. 🙂
