You should try using the program's uninstall, cause it should be more through. But if you just want to remove the entry in the Add/Remove Programs just do the following.

You can remove it from the Add/Remove Program list from the registry. It should be under one of the folders in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall. Just delete the entry you want to remove from Add/Remove programs. As always be careful when modifying the registry. As always you should probably make a backup of the registry just in case.

Hopefully it's obvious, but just deleting the registry key does not uninstall the app. That said, sometimes it's the only way if the apps uninstall is erroring out and Windows isnt' detecting that the uninstall is gone (if it does, it should offer to remove it from the list for you)

One of the conveniences of the MS Tweak UI utility was clearing out old entries in that list for items that were deleted, not uninstalled, so the Add/Remove couldn't do anything. Supposedly, Microsoft didn't want people to keep using Tweak UI on Windows after 95 OSR2, then relented and offered it again. They aren't "proud" of its existence, though, even if it's up to version 1.33 for older Windows OS's.

I wanted to get an installable file for it, so I spent quite a bit of fruitless time searching on the MS download site, no luck. I have now done a Google for a different download site that still has a copy, to put it on a second W98se PC here. PC World Magazine's site had a copy, along with a different version of it for XP:
