Delete option for (mistakenly posted) thread

Hi, seems there is no delete option for threads. For example if thread started and you discover there is already another thread on same topic.

You can ask the mods to delete it or just post a link the the other relevant thread.

No way. Then where would all the fun be ? Letting users delete their own content would be a disaster.

yeah, I don't know why you can't delete a post.... You can edit to say... posted by mistake, move along....nothing to see here.

Easy way to delete...... just edit your title of post or thread to "Ignore this thread" and replace the content with "Nothing to see here". Then tell the mods that you want to delete the post.
