Erase the "-d/dx" fraction.

Move the parentheses so that it surrounds the stuff in the denominator.

Move the minus sign so that it is in front of the x in the numerator.

Write "-a" behind the "x" in the numerator.

Write a little 2 slightly above the level of and behind the "x" and the "a" in the numerator.

Write a little 2 slightly above the level of and behind the denominator (outside the parentheses).

Done.

Edit: 😛

I was doing your problem on the tablet during lunch, was gonna post it. Seems you got it?

d/dx = can see that as quot rule right away. f'(x)g(x) - f(x)g'(x) / (g(x)^2) etc

And I saw what SDee did there.
