I have read that you can plug a 32bit PCI card in a 64bit pci slot.

But can you plug a 64bit PCI card into a 32 bit slot?

I know the slot connectors differ. And it seems that the 64 bit fits but its extra connectors would just kind of sit outside the normal 32 bit PCI slot.

Anyone know the answer?

The card I am working with says this

Bus System Interface Type

64-bit PCI (32-bit compatible)
