Whenever I get emails w/attachments from important people they won't let me open it. Its driving me nuts, does anyone know why this is happening?

Maybe the attachments are viruses? I think outlook automatically removes harmful scripts and viruses....or blocks them

Outlook 2002 includes a new security feature that blocks attachments that are considered unsafe. If you receive an e-mail message that contains one of the blocked file types, you may receive the following warning message:
Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments: [...]

Although Outlook has blocked access to the attachment, the attachment still exists in the message.

You will need to "hack the registry" to regain access to these "Level 1 attachments"
