My friend tried to add a second HD to a w2k system. When he booted up and got to the loading personal settings part of the logon screen the screen would flash black and then go to the logon screen then black and so on, so he shutdown and took the just add HD out. Now when he starts up, when it gets to the loading personal settings part of the logon screen he getting a pop-up error message that the paging file is too small and that he needs to resize it. After clicking ok to the error the screen goes black and nothing happens. Does anyone know whats causing this or how to fix it(hopefully with out losing any data)?
