Well, I got shitfaced this weekend and lost my phone (Motorola L6). I've looked everywhere for it and it's nowhere to be found. I just renewed my contract with AT&T a couple months ago, so a free phone is out of the question (or so I assume).

So does anyone have any recommendations for a new phone.

My only requirements is that it is AT&T, cheap, call, text, and have some sorta mp3 ringtone (USB). That's it, no fancy stuff, because apparently I'm not responsible enough for a nice phone. :p

The first thing you should do is call AT&T and get that phone blocked until you activate a new one with the same number.

I thought about that, but I'm was sorta trying to wait just in case it turns up. But I guess I'll do it today.

BTW - if you had your locator turned on, and the phone was "ON" - they could possibly locate it.

On my two phones there are such settings - go to Menu, Settings, and Location. It can then be ON or OFF. It is tied to a trangulation system that uses your providers towers. Future ones will be GPS based. I learned about it by watching an episode of Law & Order where they used that to find a person with a cell phone. But, the phone has to be ON, and that feature ENABLED or ON.

Unless it's enabled by default it's off.

No one's given a suggestion yet. :p
