I built a computer for someone and to check out the internet and modem I installed a copy of Prodigy Internet and logged on. Now I'm delivering the thing and would like to get all traces of passwords etc. off the computer.
Other than deleting PI which I will do. What can I do to remove all traces of passwords?

Quesstion 2...what are all those files in the temporary internet files directory?

Question 3. How do I delete all cookies?

Browser is IE 5. Win 98SE.

If you want to delete all those passwords, history, temp files etc. download System Mechanic. It's very effective in that it removes all that stuff. But if you want to do it manually go to Windows folder and then into Temporary Internet Files and select all (i.e. Ctrl+A) then Delete.

for passwords, first make sure under settings/folders/view, view all files is enabled. go start/find & type *.pwl & you'll see all passwords which you can then delete if required.
you can delete all the files in the temporary internet files directory. edit/select all/delete.
for cookies, look in windows/cookies folder.
