I'm having a problem with Delayed Write Fails in Win XP. I have reformatted and reinstalled Windows, but I'm still getting the errors and they're getting more frequent. about two hours ago I got a delayed write fail in the boot sector. Now windows won't boot at all. Any help would be appreciated.
BTW, I didn't know if it was a hardware or a software problem, so I just picked this cetegory. Sorry if I'm in the wrong place.
Thanks,

If you can put the XP cd in and run the recovery console. Do a chkdsk /f.
Disable large system cache if its enabled. In the advanced system properties. Performance settings advanced set memory usage to programs.
