Delayed boot

Whenever I boot, I get a lsight delay after everything starts. Right before the drivers. I deleted all the drivers I didn't need, but it still pauses... Anyone know what's going on?

do you have a netowrk card in your machine, then it is the netowrk protocals looking for any servers out there, like a dhcp server.

sorry, it's windows 2000, the network thing sounds reasonable. Now here's another problem. I just got the Rave MP 2000 and I need a progfram that will work with windows 2000 to upload to the mp3 player.
