Defragging & backing up a RAID 5 array...

Kinda new to using RAID... I've got 4 drives in a RAID 5 array creating a single logical drive. Is defragging recommended for RAID arrays?

As for backing up, I was hoping that I could use a version of Ghost, however I can't find any indication that Ghost will reliably back up a RAID 5 array. What are my options as far as restoring a RAID 5 array onto, say, a sufficiently large IDE drive, are concerned?

EDIT OS is Win2K Pro, SP4 :)

Thanks!
Geoff

If it were WinXP Pro, you could use Automated System Recovery :(
