Defrag my WD Passport?

Any point in defragging an external hard drive? I use it quite a bit... I run several virtual machines from it so I can imagine with the virtual hard disks getting resized it's getting quite fragmented. Any harm in defragmenting it? I remember when I had my Creative Zen NX Creative stated in several places in the manual not to defrag it. These Passports are just regular 2.5 inch notebook drives so it shouldn't do any harm, right?

No harm at all - in fact, it is a very good idea to do so. I defrag my external drives weekly - have done so for several years. Never a problem.
