defrag keeps accessing floppy

Hi
Does any comp. guru knows why my system during defrag keep going back and forth between Hdd and floppy,and how to solve it. I have to shut off defrag before ruining my floppy.
OS: XPhome
CPU4 2.8ghz
ram: 1gb

If you open Defrag and go to Settings or Options, the program might be set to scan all drives or My Computer. There should be a setting for just the Hard Drives.
