How long to I have to wait after painting my TBIRD CPU before it is safe to put back in my computer and fire up?

Well, with the permtex stuff, it took some effort to apply it to the bridges before it dried. I think that the amount of time it takes to apply the hermal compound, install the processor and clip on heatsink is propably enough. (thats about how long i waited, but after i closed the bridges, (after 2 hours of work), i stared at them for several minutes making sure i did everything right)

i usually blow on them a little, and then wait around for like 5-10 mins. it's quick drying. then touch it to make sure it's dry. then pop it on. =)

Permatex recommends like 24hrs on the actual defogger grid. Defoggers pull loads of amps to heat up the rear window. By comparison, the current flow thru the bridges is almost nothing.
