defogger kit, conductive pen, or pencil?

i'm new to overclocking and was wondering if they if any advantage in any of the three techniques i've heard of for connecting the l1 bridges? or it is just success rate? thanks

I've tried the defogger kit. Keep messing it up so I went with the pencils method. Much easier and forgiving than the other method.
