Is it the I-Storm?

The Vantec Ultimate Hard Drive cooler with the integrated heatsink?

Or something else . . . ?

Dunno what's the best but I sorta made my own unit out of a 90mm fan. Just took of of those unused 5.25 floppy/ZIP drive converters and cut a hole in the middle. Glued the fan onto the unit using superglue. Mounted it on the bottom and now it works like a charm! My old drive would use to be a little hot to touch (at times getting close to burning my finger) but once I added the fan, the drive was VERY cool. Don't know if you really need that integrated heatsink but it could help. Vantec does make good stuff from what I've seen.

I bought the little bolt-on units for my two IBM 30 gb drives... they really help cool the drive chips down.

I just bought a JustCooler unit for the harddrive. Haven't touched my drive yet but it didn't seem to bring down my ssytem adn CPU temperature. Sigh, i was hoping for that side benefit.
