Definitive Dragon Age 1 Texture Pack?

The game looks fugly by default. However, I've been reading A song of Fire and Ice (no, not because of the HBO series....I just coincidently started a while back; already half way through book 3) and am now interested to play the game for the game (although based on my very very short play the first time around, it seemed like there were similarities between the two on a rough level).

I've been searching around and it seems there are definitely texture PACKS for various thing, but no major compilation that really beauties up the game the way that texture packs literally transform Morrowind or Oblivion (perhaps I should be playing those two games instead?)

It also comes down to me owning a powerful PC and wanting to utilize it somewhat 😛 😉

And no - No Dragon Age 2 unless I atleast play the first 😛

So is there a well known texture pack I'm missing? I see JB3 texture pack, but it doesn't seem to be fully complete (several users said that the pack is a mixture between 512x and 1024x; a vast improvement over 256x, but it makes untextured areas look even fuglier).

edit: let me make note, not just a texture pack, but a total mod pack...

No there really isn't any besides the JB3 pack. I remember reading that due to something Bioware did with the files it is difficult to work with. I can't remember any of the specifics though, sorry.
