I can't find any definitions for the following 3 words, or phrases.

I'm not sure if they are one or two words, i think one word.

Dimplechad

Hangingchad

My name's Chad, and I've been reading about those things all the time in the paper. They're two words. The things on the back of a punch ballot such as the ones used in Palm Beach county in FLA that actually get punched out. Sort of like the little round things that fall off of a piece of paper when you use a hole-puncher on it.

Dimple Chad: A "Chad" that's not punched out but has an indentation
Hanging Chad: A "Chad" that got punched out but is hanging by a thread
Pregnant Chad: A "Chad" that was obviously punched, because it has a big crevasse in it.

I love it, I'm everwhere nowadays. :D

I believe that chad is the piece of punch out paper on a card, and the ballot chad is rectangular shape.

I think a pregnant chad is the chad that is not completely punch through, but have one, two or three of its corners punch through and shown light though it.
