Just received my P4 1.6 CPU so open it up check the retail box and it says on front:

400MHz system Bus
256Kb L2 Cache

so i check the product code sticker on side at it says:

Pentium 4 Processor 1.60GHz
System Bus 400MHz, 256KB L2-Cache, PGA-478

not happy by this point so check the invoice at it says:

Pentium 4 1.6AGhz Socket 478 CPU 512Kb .13u which is what I ordered. looks like the wankers sent me the wrong one

Looks like you ordered a 1.6a and they sent you a 1.6. Just contact the vendor and have them make it right.

Yeah, things like this tend to turn quickly into a mob-driven crucification around here, so just keep in mind that it could very well be just an honest mistake.

Yes, there are 1300mhz, 1400mhz, 1500mhz, 1600mhz, 1700mhz, 1800mhz, 1900mhz, and 2000mhz flavors.
