Hard to capture my taste in music in just three albums, so I'll stick to three albums that are relatively close to "mainstream" music (OK, they were mainstream when they were released).

Johnny Cash - Live at Folsom Prison

Black Crowes - Shake Your Money Maker

Pearl Jam - Ten

Ah, too bad. SJ and I live right near each other. Thought we had another downeaster among us.

Well he has to come to Maine if he wants to smash up my CDs. I better make sure I ripped them all.

JLee lived up here, but I think he finally ran for the desert. I never did get to see his MR2.

Appetite for Destruction was my #4. It's a real shame Axl was too much of an asshole to make another decent record.

I don't know if I can do it in three, but I'll try.

XTC - Skylarking
Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy
REM - Automatic for the People

It's really though to only use three.

Just as others have said, it's impossible with only 3 choices. But:

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin

English Beat - Wha'ppen

311 - Grassroots

I think JLee is still in NH. Out west or in the north country, last I heard.
