Define your laughter abbreviations.

For me:

lol = quick, quiet laugh
lmao = a decent quiet laugh
lmfao = an decently audible laugh
LMFAO = one that makes everyone look

rofl - roll on floor laughing
lol - laughing out loud
lawl - phonetic lol
rofp - roll on floor peeing
clint - clint laughing in new tights

haha: slight variation of a frown
lol: straight face with minor spasm of muscle lining the cheek-bone
lmfao: straight face with teeth grinding
bwahaha: eye twitch accompanying the straight face

heh - level 1 laugh
hehe - level 2 laugh
haha - level 3 laugh
lol - level 4 laugh
rofl - level 5 laugh
lolol - level 6 laugh
lmao - level 7 laugh
LMAO - level 8 laugh
LMFAO - GODLIKE
ROFLCOPTER - WICKED SICK!

lol has to be the most over-used abbreviation ever. Seriously, people say "lol" to stuff that is only mildly funny, if at all. Certainly nothing to actually laugh out loud about.

hehe or haha: Smile
lol: Can be anywhere from a small smile to a decent laugh
LOL: Usually a good laugh, sometimes not
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA: I'm laughing, something's funny ******
