i have several users on several workstations running windows 7 on a domain
each workstation has dual monitors, but not all monitors have the same resolution, and indeed most of the dual monitors do not have the same resolution as each other
each user has several programs that they need to use duing the day: Inventory Management software, Telephone system software, Outlook, Fax Server software, Quickbooks, etc.
what i would like to be able to do is, for each user, define a default screen location for each program (in other words, to create an overall dual screen layout)
something that took into account relative screen size would be great, but is not necessary since generally each user uses the same workstation and same set of monitors always
is this possible?
for example: i want Inventory Management to always take up all of screen 1, while the Telephone system software is at the top right corner of screen 2, outlook takes up the bottom half of screen 2, and fax server software at the top left corner of screen 3
of course it is possible for each user to manually configure this every time...
it would also be neat to have multiple predefined configurations for each user, so that depending on a task they could press a single button that would automatically rearrange all their screens to suit the task
