I know that in 14 days you can return something to best buy for a full refund even if its open (digital camera). But if it's defective can I also return it and get my money back? or will they only give me a new one? and then can I return that new one?

You can return it for your money back.

My buddy bought a TV, he wakes up one morning to find the case has a 2 inch crack that appeared while he was sleeping.

We drove it to the store, since he had ordered it online, they refunded his money and he just ordered another one online because they were out of them in-store.

for digital cameras, if it's defective (and they can verify the defect) you can return it or exchange it without having to pay the 15% restocking fee.

They might tell you "Since you didn't buy the PSP, you will have to contact the manufacturer." Thats only if its after the 14 days though.

You should be able to return it for a full refund if it's defective, especialy within the prescribed return period.

The only other thing I'm going to say is, good luck with those fsckers!
